As a visual learner, I have always been intrigued by photography and the presentation of visual elements. This is a collection of my work as a photographer. As of yet I have not had the privilege of investing in professional photography equipment. Most of the photographs shown here were taken by my Canon "point and shoot" camera; however, I have tried to use the elements and principles of photography to create fun and enjoyable images to view and study. Please enjoy my work.

Koyasan, Japan

These photographs were taken at the top of Mt. Koyasan near Hashimoto, Japan. Koyasan is a place of reverence and peace. It is home to many shrines, tombs, and structures designed to reverence the ancestors of the Japanese people. Some of the richest cultural experiences I had while in Japan took place at the top of Mt. Koyasan.
