Our Horticulture tour took us to the Chinese Garden in Portland, Oregon. I was not only fascinated by the landscape and layout of the garden, but by the superb detail and texture found in nearly every piece and part of the garden.

As a visual learner, I have always been intrigued by photography and the presentation of visual elements. This is a collection of my work as a photographer. As of yet I have not had the privilege of investing in professional photography equipment. Most of the photographs shown here were taken by my Canon "point and shoot" camera; however, I have tried to use the elements and principles of photography to create fun and enjoyable images to view and study.
